FAQ
Do you offer in-person or online therapy?
I offer both in-person and online therapy. I see patients in person at my office in Oakland, and I offer secure video sessions for anyone located in California. You’re welcome to choose the format that works best for you—or we can discuss what feels right together.
Where is your office located?
How often will we meet?
My office is in the Market Hall building. The address is 5655 College Ave. Suite 317b in Oakland.
I typically meet with patients once per week at a regular, ongoing time. In some cases, especially during periods of transition or emotional difficulty, we may meet more often. Consistency is important for the kind of depth-oriented work I offer.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes long.
What can I expect in the first session?
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what brings you in, and we’ll begin to explore what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
How long will therapy take?
That depends on your goals. Some people come to therapy for support during a specific life transition. Others are looking for deeper, longer-term work. I tend to work in an open-ended way, allowing space for ongoing exploration and change. We can talk together about what you’re hoping for and what feels realistic.
What is your fee and do you take insurance?
I am not currently in-network with any insurance providers. However, I can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt) that you may be able to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to contact your provider directly to learn more about your benefits for out-of-network psychotherapy.

If you’d like to inquire about my current fee, I am happy to answer any questions directly.
