ABOUT

THERAPY FOR ADULTS AND TEENS

I’m Dr. Alison Moon Jackson, a licensed clinical psychologist providing therapy to adults and teens. I work with individuals seeking support and meaningful change.  I help people explore patterns in their relationships, understand the roots of anxiety and depression, and feel more connected to themselves. Whether you've noticed yourself struggling more lately, or just need space to process and explore, therapy can offer space to reflect, feel supported, and grow.

What draws me to this work is helping people make sense of the “why” beneath their feelings and choices. When we understand the patterns in our thoughts, choices, and behavior, we gain the freedom to do something different, building relationships that feel more secure, and developing a life that aligns with what we want.

EXPERIENCE

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, where I was trained in contemporary psychodynamic therapy and depth-oriented work. I completed my predoctoral internship at Access Institute for Psychological Services in San Francisco. Before pursuing clinical training, I studied sociology at Vassar College, where I focused on feminism, identity, and systems of power. These interests continue to inform my therapeutic perspective. My clinical experience includes over ten years of working with adults and teens across a range of settings.
